Description; Inspired from tile painted in Turkey,iznik about 1650. Image has drafted and painted in the way to explain about Hajj/Pilgrimage (Fifth pillar of Islam) in Exhibition Islam, 2013, UK. Inspired from tile painted in Turkey,Iznik about 1650. A bird eye view shows the mosque as it was in the 17th century. The Ka`ba is square Building in the middle, draped with black Cover name (Kiswa) and text is written from Quran. Surat 'Āli `Imrān (Family of Imran) -3: 96, 97) Translation: Indeed, the first House [of worship] established for mankind was that at Makkah - blessed and a guidance for the worlds. 96 In it are clear signs [such as] the standing place of Abraham. And whoever enters it shall be safe. And [due] to Allah from the people is a pilgrimage to the House - for whoever is able to find thereto a way. But whoever disbelieves - then indeed, Allah is free from need of the worlds. 97 Size: 50 cm x 40 cm
